Don’t hesitate to ask for HELP

• I’m a Do-it-yourself guy but at the same time, I never hesitate to ask for help because it saves a lot of time that I can use for some other positive work.
• I know as a newbie, you’ll be really excited about the idea of doing the project on your own, but it is advisable to segregate the whole project into smaller parts and complete the smaller parts one at a time.
• Once you’ve some hands-on experience, you can easily complete the entire project in one go.

Bonus Tip: Always use two layers

Depending on your budget and requirements, you can decide on the number of layers of drywall.

However, it is highly recommended to use at least two layers of drywall.

Inserting the Green Glue in the layers can drastically reduce the noise.

Using a single layer of drywall may not serve the purpose of noise dampening.

At least half a millimeter thick

Well, if you’re a regular reader of this blog, then you’ll be well aware of the fact that thickness and density are two parameters that play a significant role in deciding the quality of soundproofing material.

When you apply Green Glue, keep in mind to apply at least a 0.5mm thick layer of Green Glue.

Increasing the thickness may not reap any benefit, but decreasing the thickness can drastically jeopardize the outcome.
